Anti-Aging Skincare Program – Week 1

Anti-Aging Skincare Program

Week 1

During our Open House in June, we launched a brand new series of treatment packages called Skincare Programs. There are six different programs, each one designed to provide specific results to a targeted audience. Each program consists of  4 treatments that are to be completed in a 6-week period. The reason we are calling these packages “Programs” is because that is exactly what they are!  In a short time frame, the Program recipient will have a dramatic change in the look, texture, and health of their skin.

These Skincare Programs are great for anyone who is looking to amp up their skin before a big event, such as a wedding or a reunion. Or simply someone who wants to have better-looking skin and wants to begin with a jumpstart, making maintaining healthy skin so much easier.

We wanted to show our clients how completing a Skincare Program can make such a dramatic difference so we are going to follow along with one of our clients,  Mary, as she starts and finishes her very own Skincare Program.   Over the next few weeks, you’ll get to know her and learn about her skin concerns and goals, but most importantly, you’ll get to watch her skin improve throughout the Program, as well as see her final results!

Meet Mary

MaryCarroll

Mary has been coming to Fountains for the past 25 years, she is the mother of 3 children whose  ages range  from  18 to 23 years old. She is also the fur-mother of 4 dogs and 1 cat. Needless to say, she can be a pretty busy lady. Mary wanted to get a head start on boosting her skin’s overall appearance since her daughter will be getting married next year, and there will be many events she’ll be attending leading up to the wedding.

When Mary came in for her first facial of her Skincare Program, she mentioned, “I’m getting older and the lower (half) of my face is falling and sagging”. Based on this information,  Suzanne, Mary’s Esthetician,  and Mary both decided that she would be a perfect candidate for the Anti-Aging Program, which consists of 2 Age Summum Facials, and 2 Lift Facials.

Esthetician’s Thoughts

Suzanne has been working with Mary for many years now and knows her main concern is slowing down the aging process, minimizing the appearance of lines and wrinkles as well as preventing drooping around the eyes. The Anti-Aging Program consists of two very powerful and complementary facials for combating aging skin. The Lift Facial addresses the signs of aging internally by toning and stimulating the facial muscles and skin through the use of micro-current. While the Age Summum Facial focuses on the face externally by exfoliating and plumping the skin, providing a more youthful appearance.

Throughout the Anti-Aging Program, Suzanne expects that Mary will notice a gradual tightening and lifting of the skin, especially around the neck and eye area.  After the Program is completed, Mary’s skin will feel plump and fuller and have an overall more youthful skin tone and appearance. See Mary’s results after completing her first facial in the program.

Magnesium Oil

Pure Prehistoric Magnesium Oil

Article by: Suzanne Olsen

Magnesium Oil

Fountains is always looking for the newest and most effective products and treatments in the alternative health field, and out latest discovery is, Prehistoric Magnesium Oil (cold filtered for purity).  Though not an oil, it has a oil-like consistency, it can also be applied topically or taken orally.

Magnesium Chloride is a natural mineral used all over the world in homeopathic medicines, naturopathic medicines, as well as in emergency rooms. It is one of nature’s best kept secrets, and should be in every home in the United States, as it is one of the most necessary nutritional minerals which is incredibly fast-acting, safe, and very effective.

Who benefits from Prehistoric Magnesium application?

Magnesium deficits in the human body, have been tied to allergies, asthma, and even attention deficit disorder (ADD,) musculoskeletal conditions, such as fibromyalgia, muscle spasms, muscle cramps and chronic neck and back pain, as well as, anxiety and heart disease.

Magnesium deficiency is one of the most common nutritional problems in the world today, and there is no substitute for Magnesium; it is as close as necessary to our bodies as air is! It also balances DHEA, (dehydroepiandrosterone) which tends to be on the low side when the body is ill.

How do I take it?

Internally:

Drinking 3-5 sprays of Magnesium Oil in a glass of pure water is a good way to ingest magnesium internally. It assists digestion, counteracts excess acidity in the stomach, and delivers magnesium quickly into the bloodstream for distribution to all the cells in the body. The taste is not so pleasant in water and could be mixed in a pure fruit juice as an alternative. I also would recommend swirling it around in your mouth if you have any gum or mouth concerns.

Externally:

This is the quickest and most convenient way to transmit Magnesium Chloride into the cells and tissues. It can be used as an effective and safe deodorant spray for under the armpits. While it does not stop you from perspiring, it does balance out the body’s natural odor while effectively transporting Magnesium swiftly through the thin skin into the glands lymphatic channels and blood stream, for equal distribution throughout the body.

Magnesium Oil can also be sprayed onto the soles of the feet before bedtime to ensure continuous absorption. Finally a massage therapist can incorporate it into a massage treatment for added pain relief.

My personal experience with Prehistoric Magnesium Oil

I was introduced to Magnesium Oil six months ago by my Acupuncturist, as I was experiencing severe muscle cramps in my calf muscles, mostly at night and sometimes numbness in some toes in the day time. The cramps were so severe I would be unable to walk or stretch the muscles out. Needless to say, I was becoming sleep deprived, and we all know how awful that feels! It took just one application.

I applied the oil directly to the calf muscles the first time I used it, and I received instant relief from the most severe pain. With continuous use, I do not have the nightly pain attacks and have noticed my back is much less stiff in the morning upon rising, and of course – sleep has been so much better! My plan is to take it orally in the morning and to apply to the soles of my feet at night on a regular basis. I also plan on applying the Magnesium Oil to any areas that I experience cramping, as needed, although since starting to use the oil they have not occurred as often or have felt nearly as severe.

Use With Caution

Avoid contact with the eyes, do not use on your legs if you have recently shaved or have an open cut or bug bite; you will experience a stinging sensation. I recommend diluting the area with water first.

Please consult with your healthcare practitioner before using Prehistoric Magnesium Oil, if you are pregnant and\or suffering from a serious medical condition or are taking medication.

Cost of Oil

You can add on Magnesium Oil to any massage treatment to aid with treating sore muscles.

Targets wrinkles, dark circles, and puffiness in 40 minutes

Eyes are the focal point of the face. Unfortunately, they also portray signs of age and fatigue through wrinkles, fine lines, dark circles, and puffiness. Guinot’s new Eye Logic treatment targets these three concerns for a more youthful and energized appearance.

How it works

The Eye Logic Treatment is a contouring treatment that targets the very delicate eye area in just 40 minutes. This 3 Step Treatment will help eliminate wrinkles, puffiness and dark circles around the eye area.

Eye Serum Gel Ionization

A special eye serum gel paired with ionization through Guinot’s pattented electrodes helps drain puffiness around the eyes, decongests dark circles, and smoothes away crow’s feet, wrinkles and frown lines.

Eye Contour Massage

An eye contour massage tones the skin, stimulates tissue drainage, and activates sub-cutaneous microcirculation to reduce puffiness and dark circles.

Eye Contour Mask

An exclusive patented shaped eye mask releases the rejuvenating active ingredients deep into cells and creates an instant lifting and firming effect.

The Results

– More youthful looking skin

– An energized and visibly different appearance

– Wrinkles and fine lines are smoothed out

– Puffiness, shadows and bags are reduced

Why Eyes Are Vulnerable

Elasticity
The skin around the eye contour is thinner and more fragile than the skin over the rest of the face. The area is poorly protected and highly exposed (wind, sunlight, etc.), making it easily subject to signs of aging.

Water
The accumulation of water causes eyelids to swell, which is accentuated by fatigue.

Blood
Dark circles are caused by excessive dilation of blood vessels on the skin’s surface that become visible. The poor circulation stagnates and intensifies the bluish color characteristic of dark undereye circles.
