Phase 3

Spa Regulations During Covid

What you’ll need to do before receiving a spa treatment:
  • If you do not feel well, if you’ve been in contact with anyone you know to have Covid within the past two weeks, please let us know. We will re-schedule your appointment.
  • Prior to your appointment, all clients must complete and return a COVID-19 Assessment Form, prior to arrival.
  • All clients and staff must arrive with their own mask, and it must be worn while in the building. Due to the shortage of masks Fountains can not provide masks for clients.
  • All clients and staff members’ temperatures will be scanned using a contactless thermometer upon arrival. If you have a fever and/or show symptoms of illness, your appointment will be cancelled and rescheduled for a future date.
  • We ask every client and staff member wash their hands upon entering the spa.
  • In an effort to limit the number of people seen in our building, we kindly ask that no guest accompany you to Fountains unless they also have an appointment.
  • We ask that when you arrive for your appointment, please remain outside the building, and text 703-831-2506 to let us know you’ve arrived. Once we have received your text, we will respond back as soon as possible to let you know when you can enter the spa.

Extra Precautions we’re taking during this time.
  • We will have hand sanitizers placed throughout the building for clients and staff use.
  • Estheticians will be outfitted with protective shield masks to ensure safety during close contact facial appointments.
  • We are staggering appointments times to ensure patients are not sitting in our waiting area.
  • Our lunch and fruit plate options will not be offered until further notice. We will still have filtered water available.
  • Our staff will make efforts to take clients as soon as possible upon entry to limit our waiting room volume.
  • We have removed all communal promotional materials, brochures as well as magazines.
  • We will disinfect each room before and after treatments/services.
  • We are continuing to comply with CDC approved cleaning products to disinfect stations after each client. We will also continue with our increased frequency of cleaning on heavily used areas like doorknobs, restrooms, light switches, phones, solid work surfaces of all massage and facial rooms and waiting areas.
  • Our staff will not be shaking hands/hugging with clients and will be required to do frequent hand washing before and after their appointments.
